Lakes Regional Park
7330 Gladiolus Drive
Fort Myers, FL 33908
(239) 432-2000
This park is one of the most popular recreational areas in Fort Myers and the surrounding region. Out of 279 acres of parkland, 158 are devoted to freshwater lakes. Guests visiting the park may partake in swimming, fishing, and canoeing. Critters to be caught include bass and catfish. Also available: paths for running, rollerblading, and biking.

Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve
7751 Penzance Crossing
Fort Myers, FL 33912
(239) 432-2004
Take a walk through the real Florida swamplands on a mile-long boardwalk, which keeps you four feet off the ground – just enough to avoid the wild alligators, water moccasins, and other fascinating animals which are so unique to this region. An amphitheatre and picnic grounds provide more reasons to head on down to this destination.
